Why Wheelhouse

Car shopping usually starts backwards: you browse listings before you've actually figured out what you need. Wheelhouse flips that. Answer a short quiz about how you actually drive and live, and it dials in the handful of vehicles worth your test drive, then shows you real listings for them.

We're not a dealer, and we don't sell cars. We built a curated dataset of vehicles covering sedans, SUVs, trucks, EVs, and more, scored against how people actually use a car, then paired that with a live nationwide listings feed so recommendations connect straight to inventory you can go see.

Wheelhouse is a small, independent project. It's free to use, and it stays funded in part through affiliate partnerships (financing, insurance, and product recommendations) disclosed on the pages where they appear — see our Terms for details. Those partnerships never affect which vehicles we recommend; the quiz results come from your answers, full stop.
